Home Assistant connects via the built-in Amcrest integration or the generic ONVIF/RTSP camera platform. For best results, enable RTSP in the Amcrest web UI and provide credentials in the integration setup.
Use the Amcrest integration (or ONVIF/RTSP) and enable RTSP in the camera UI to expose live streams, snapshots, motion sensors, and PTZ controls.
